Rolando Simmons
Summer Diary One EP

Ok, so it’s the depths of winter here and in Rolando Simmons native Sweden, but that’s not put him off trying to remind us that the sun does occasionally shine. Summer Diary One EP is the producer’s first recording for Analogical Force and is equipped with enough melody and punchy bass grooves to make us feel like it’s summer once again. 5-track 12” EP on Analogical Force.

µ-Ziq
D Funk EP

The new µ-Ziq EP is in fact full of old µ-Ziq, sourced from the deep dark archives kept by Mike Paradinas. Apparently this D-Funk material is from the good old days, never before heard on any stereo but Mike’s. Accordingly the energy and beat count is extremely high. You already know you need this right? Four tracks on 12” wax, from Analogical Force.

Brainwaltzera
Bunker EP

Brainwaltzera returns to Analogical Force (u-ziq, Pye Corner Audio) to follow up his 2017 Outdives EP for the Madrid imprint. It’s unclear if Bunker is a tribute to the legendary Bunker Records, but there is a similarly hard-nosed aesthetic to cuts like ‘Bunker’ and ‘Trip’. Unit Moebius would be proud. Elsewhere the EP shows off influences of synthwave and bleep ‘n’ bass before closing out with a fun jungle remix from Provatron.
