Suzanne Vallie
Love Lives Where Rules Die

Recorded in an intense five-day burst in September last year under the aegis of producer Rob Shelton, Love Lives Where Rules Die is the keenly anticipated debut album from Californian songwriter and poet Suzanne Vallie. Inspired by a break-up over the summer, it has a warm ambience reminiscent of Sharon Van Etten’s early output.

Kacey Johansing
The Hiding

Feels too important a detail to leave out that Kacey Johansing was born in a place called Kalamazoo. Beyond that her third album The Hiding is an incredibly warm collection of dreamy indie pop tunes about finding herself after a couple of seismic changes in her life, one of which was the break up of her previous band Yesway.
