Chris Watson
Locations, Processed (Blue TB7 Series)

Chris Watson probably has the coolest CV of the original post-punk scene. Starting out as one of the founding members of Cabaret Voltaire, he has since become one of the world's premier recorders of nature, helping create meaningful soundscapes for David Attenborough's documentaries. On Locations, Processed he combines these practices, creating an audio odyssey using The Moog Sound Lab’s System 55 to celebrate the legendary Bob Moog.

Charlemagne Palestine
Interrvallissphereee (Blue TB7 Series)

Part of a two part release that capture Charlemagne Palestine’s first session in the Moog Sound Lab.  Having had a long relationship with the tools the composer has leapt at the chance to create what he has dreamed about for the last 50 years. Creating 6 long form drone works, this 12’s brings a single 50 minute piece split into an opening and finale.

Gazelle Twin
I Feel Blood/Exorcise (ACE 236 Series)

Elizabeth Walling under her Gazelle Twin alias has been afforded the opportunity to bring us something a bit special. I hope you like Moogs, because as part of the Supersonic Festival the Gazelle was invited to make music on the wall-to-wall Moog machines available at the Moog Sound Lab satellite sessions in Birmingham. Later, back at the lab again, the recordings were finessed at Ace Hotel in Shoreditch, of all places. I Feel Blood / Exorcise (ACE 236 Series) is the result. On Moog Recordings Library.

Jimi Tenor / Tony Allen

Back in Spetember 2016, the Moog Sound Lab took its show on the road to Café Oto for the very first time. Together they played on a special "drum trigger unit" built by the engineers at Moog.

Charlemagne Palestine
Ttuunneesszz Duh Rruunneesszz (Blue TB7 Series)

The highly respected composer and artist Charlemagne Palestine has long adored Moog synthesizers, and started experimenting with them in the 60s. Well now is very different from then, and having been given access to the moog lab he dove right in to create 6 longform drone pieces utilizing as many oscillators as he could imagine. Ttuunneesszz Duh Rruunneesszz is a single piece slit into opening and closing.

Mika Vainio
Lydspor One & Two (Blue TB7 Series)

Taken from the recordings the late Mika Vainio made on his visit to the Moog Sound-lab in 2015, it's Lydspor One & Two. Lydspor is Danish for soundtrack, and here -- available for the first time, on two sides of vinyl and CD edition -- are the tracks documenting Vainio's tinkerings with the prototype Moog Modular System 55, a reverse-engineered edition replicating the 1970s classic synth. A second session was planned but sadly Vainio died before that could happen. The record is thus a fitting memorial to a wonderfully gifted, softly spoken man. On Moog Recordings Library.

Hieroglyphic Being
The Replicant Dream Sequence (Blue PA14 Series)

Following up his loving tribute to all things innovative in the jazz world from classic Blue Note records onwards on 'The Red Notes', Jamal Moss releases The Replicant Dream Sequence (Blue PA14 Series) under his foremost Hieroglyphic Being alias.  Moss visited the late Bob Moog's Sound Lab at the tail end of 2016 and the Chicago house music innovator tested the classic and futuristic machines to their oscillating limits. Prismatic Afro-Futurism never sounded so Moogy, so groovy. Limited edition LP and CD on Moog Recordings Library.

The Grid
One Way Traffic (Blue TB7 Series)

Dave Ball has done an awful lot more than just be in Soft Cell and have a moustache. Turns out he also guested with Psychic TV but his main other thing has been the Grid which reunited in 2015 and also includes Richard Norris who also starred in Beyond the Wizards Sleeve. This is a tour de force of  electronica and space noise jams from two experts in the field.
