Practice Magic And Seek Professional Help When Necessary

Toth seems to be America’s youngest bedroom indie music maker. Laidback, melancholy and lushly produced, Practice Magic and Seek Professional Help When Necessary sounds like a dreamy Soccer Mommy but fuller and with a hint of Kaputt-era Destroyer. Might very well be the perfect soundtrack for your lazy summer days.

Randall Dunn

First solo release from Randall Dunn, the talent behind the production of lots of excellent albums and the music on quite a few of them too (Earth, SunnO))), Six Organs Of Admittance etc.). Rolling solo on Beloved, he uses synths to create heavy and lush sound tapestries. Also featuring guest spots from Zola Jesus and Timm Mason. On Figureight Records.

Sophomore album from Icelandic composer, musician and experimental instrument-maker Úlfur. Having worked with Icelandic favourites Jónsi and Ólöf Arnalds, Arborescence sees him blend electronic and classical influences, tied together with his own vocals and string arrangements from Gyda Valtysdottir. Highly recommended for Sigur Rós fans. On Figureight Records.

Aaron Roche
HaHa HuHu

Aaron Roche is a Brooklyn-based songwriter continuing the great tradition of the American singer-songwriter with this LP, HaHa HuHu. Having played guitar for the live acts of artists such as Sufjan Stevens, R. Stevie Moore and Lower Dens, Roche brings this varied experience to this expansive and primal album of transient folk music. Roche’s sound ebbs and flows with a natural sway over his building soundscapes and he leaves his own impression upon American folk tradition.
