Dawan Muhammad
Deep Stream

Not much is known about Dawan Muhammed's Deep Stream  - a 1979 era private press album now re-issued on High Jazz. A Google search reveals very little but listening through the album it is immediately clear that this is a beautiful work of spiritual jazz that needs to reach a wider audience. It features seven glistening tracks of piano, sax and cool vocal harmonies. A beautiful ride.

Norman Weeks and Revelations

Previously only available as a part of a tiny private pressing when first released back in the late Seventies, Miracles was the solitary album from gospel preacher and singer Norman Weeks and his backing band The Revelations. Long held up as a lost treasure of soul and gospel, it’s now re-mastered and re-issued with its original artwork.
