The Relict
Tomorrow Is Again

You may not immediately know The Relict but just look at that font and all might become familiar. They were a spin off of The Clientele who had the same hazy soft sound but were more in a Mazzy Star, Galaxie 500 type style with guest vocals by the likes of Pam Berry and Lupe Nunez-Fernandez. If you are at all a fan of the Clientele this is one rarity you'll want to pick up. First time on vinyl courtesy of the good people at Wouldn't Waste Records.

Dean & Britta
Back Numbers

Back Numbers is the second album by Dean & Britta - AKA Dean Wareham (Galaxie 500, Luna) and Britta Phillips (Luna). It was originally released on CD in 2007, this is the first time it has been available on good ol’ vinyl.  It was produced by Tony Visconti of legendary producer fame. It sees the married couple, before they started making x-rated record sleeves, running through covers by Lee Hazlewood and Donovan, among others.

Cowboy Junkies

Cowboy Junkies are most notable for their Trinity Sessions masterpiece released in 1988 but they have had a long career with many other highlights. 2001's Open began during time off for a tour to promote their live album Waltz Across America and showcases their eerie take on folk music led by Margo Timmins' lovely voice. First time on vinyl - limited edition of 500 copies.

Wake Ooloo
Hear No Evil

Wake Oooloo might not be a name immediately familiar to you but you may prick up your ears when I tell you that this is members of the Feelies. It was made in one of the Feelies characteristic breaks from doing anything at all and showcases a more muscular sound informed as always by the ghosts of the Velvet Underground and Television. One of the Feelies less known spin offs comes on a vinyl edition of 500 on Wouldn't Waste records.
