I-Robots present Phantom Records

The Mondo Groove label have got their hands on the archives of the Phantom Records label, and have enlisted Italian Italo expert and selector I-Robots to guide us listeners through the disco vaults. This vinyl collection features a lot of rare cuts getting re-pressed for the first time, as well as some exclusive I-Robots edits. Plus scans of all the original sleeves, yummy.

I Adore Commodore

Originally released in 1983 I Adore Commodore is made pretty much entirely on commodore 64s, syncing 10 of them up at a time. K. Bytes was Marcello Giombini, an italian composer who loved electronica and Italo-disco as much as computer games, so he brought them together in truly authentic chiptune music. Reissue vinyl on Mondo Groove.

Deca’s music has been quietly doing its thing in the underground of Italy’s electronic experimental music scene for years. This album of Roland synthesiser explorations dates back to the late 80’s, when it was released only in a very limited cassette edition. Mass is full of the dark pulse and throb of the 80’s electro era, but expressed in Deca’s own special way. Vinyl reissue on Mondo Groove.
