The Art of Sleeping Alone
Oh Baby

Oh Baby - a duo consisting of cousins Rick Hornby and Jen Devereux - deliver a brilliant new EP on 12” transparent yellow vinyl. The Art of Sleeping Alone combines Hornby and Devereux’s professed love of classic indie and electronic influences, but then puts a modern pop twist on proceedings.

Cory Kilduff
When It All Gets To Be Too Much

Cory Kilduff was raised on a diet of ‘80s movies. Therefore purveyor of teen angst, John Hughes, played a huge part in his life. When It All Gets To Be Too Much is inspired by actress Molly Ringwald’s more emotional moments on screen. Coloured vinyl LP, limited to 500 copies on Burning Witches Records.

Kevin Hufnagel & Natasha Kermani
Imitation Girl (Original Soundtrack)

The soundtrack to last year’s curious film Imitation Girl, directed by Natasha Kermani and co-scored with Kevin Hufnagel, is as strange and otherworldly as the movie itself. Concerning a girl who mysteriously materialises in the middle of a desert, it’s constructed from lonely guitar work and alien soundscapes.

Antoni Maiovvi
Housewife (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Berlin based producer Antoni Maiovvi, who also goes under the names Pleasure Model and Ketsueki Sakuru, has worked on soundtracks before (Abdullah, Yellow). But for Can Evrenol’s horror Housewife, Maiovvi takes a massive step away from his Italio-synth-disco inspired production and provides an eerie and hellish orchestrated backing. But of course, he’s done a disco mix of the title track for good measure.

System Syn
Dry Blood

The striking, minimalistic soundtrack to Dry Blood, the film that Clint Carney (a.k.a. System Syn) also wrote, produced and starred in back in 2017 and which was nominated for the FANtastic Horror Film Festival’s Best Original Score category, now receives a vinyl release on Burning Witches Records.

Daniel Davies
Soeurs De Glisse (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Original score from Belgian documentary film Soeurs De Glisse. Both beautiful and tense, the music brilliantly reflects the film’s subject - two Belgian sisters, one visually-impaired, who competed at the South Korea Paralympic Games as skiers and brought home a medal. You may know Davies from his recent work with one John Carpenter, clearly he is a soundtracker to be reckoned with.

Espectrostatic
Silhouette

Alex Cuervo is, by night, Espectrostatic! Under this name he mines the rich world of sounds and tropes that vintage horror movie soundtracks have given us over the years. Silhouette is original music that carries that spooky flavour you love so much, and it's released in a fancy vinyl edition by Burning Witches Records.

Graham Reznick
R0B0PHAs1A

Graham Reznick has composed greatly for screen, especially horror, with credits including ABCs of Death 2, Beneath and The House of the Devil. Transposing this to stand alone music made sense with his John Carpenter leanings. After releasing on Death Waltz he now breaks onto Burning Witches with a much more angular 80’s electro/hip hop sound which is cheeky and filled with infectious melody.
