Over a year after the sad and tragic death of Chris Cornell, his estate and Universal Music are about to release the 17-track self-titled album 'Chris Cornell', as well as a 64-track limited-edition deluxe box set. 11 of the tracks in the expanded deluxe edition are previously unreleased. Selections were taken from performances with three of Cornell's bands; Soundgarden, Temple Of The Dog and Audioslave -- as well as songs from his solo career. Available on a choice of audio formats, from Universal.

The fifth album from Soundgarden turned out to be their last before an acrimonious break-up and a break of more than a decade and a half. Listen carefully and hear the seeds of their arguments! These mostly stemmed from a push towards less heavy, more experimental sounds, which in Chris Cornell’s defence it must be said were fairly interesting. Down On The Upside is reissued by Universal.
Soundgarden’s 1994 classic Superunknown gets a 20th anniversary reissue with not one, but two deluxe versions to choose from. It will also be available on vinyl.
The Super Deluxe version is an expansive 5 CD package featuring the remastered album, demos, rehearsals and b-sides and a version of the album mixed in Blu-ray ™ Audio 5.1 Surround Sound. Beautifully packaged in a hardback book with new artwork, liner notes from Rolling Stone journalist David Fricke and previously unseen photos by Kevin Westerberg.
The Deluxe version is a 2 CD set including the full remastered album, demos, rehearsals and b-sides.
The Vinyl version is 2 slabs of 180gm vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve featuring 16 tracks.

The bizarrely named Satanoscillatemymetallicsonatas is celebrating its 25 years anniversary with this release on Universal records. The album was released alongside a special edition of 'Badmotorfinger' in 1992, and contains a live performance of 'Slaves & Bulldozers', 3 covers, and an original song. Expect nothing but Soundgarden's brand of raw psychedelic rock, full to the brim with crunchy riffs. Released as purple coloured Vinyl 12".
Badmotorfinger was the third album by Seattle grunge-metal band Soundgarden. Released at the height of the grunge phenomenon, It was their major label debut and the album that introduced the band to a load of new fans. Contains the singles Rusty Cage (which was covered by Johnny Cash!), Outshined and Jesus Christ Pose.

The second album from Soundgarden receives a reissue.
