Stern power-Techno from Sleeparchive here, the latest in a long-line of powerful 12”s. No getting around it, A Wounded Worker will bludgeon the listener into submission with those rock-hard kick drums and those tight-flexing synths. Two tracks, released on his own imprint within a hand-stamped sleeve.
Sleeparchive rocks up onto Warm Up with this 12”. The Windows EP fills the landscape with firm digital techno, shuffling sonics arpeggiating all around the listener’s headspace. Two tracks from Sleeparchive (‘Window 057’ and ‘Window 092’) and reconstructive remixes of each from Oscar Mulero.
Techno producer Sleeparchive began life in the early 2000’s making electronic music under various names such as Skanfrom and Television Set before settling on the his current pseudonym under which he has been self releasing two records a year since 2004. His latest release, ‘Senza Titolo’ on the excellent Rotterdam label, Mord is 12’’s of highly charged of hypnotic, minimalist, techno.
Sleeparchive / Mike Parker
Berlin's minimal techno tinkerer Sleeparchive joins forces with another low-key electronic artist, Mike Parker, for the very fittingly titled 'Untitled' -- it's almost as if neither of them have anything to say. This split EP excellently synthesizes their distinct but related sounds, Sleeparchive offering up a bright, hypnotic aesthetic on his side, and Parker focusing on free-flowing atmospherics on the flip.
Christian Wunsch / Oscar Mulero / Sleeparchive
The Spirit Molecule
'The Spirit Molecule' is the brainchild of electronic artists Oscar Mulero and Christian Wunsch, a collaborative 12" on Tsunami (Wunsch's very own home label), that brings together two individually composed tunes. As if that wasn't enough, they're joined by minimal techno artist Sleeparchive, who contributes a tune to keep things moving. An electronic supergroup making tunes on their own.
