Rage Against The Machine
Rage Against The Machine

‘Rage Against the Machine’ is the eponymously titled debut studio album by American rap metal band Rage Against the Machine. The album was originally released on November 3, 1992. It’s contains the tracks ‘Killing In The Name Of’, ‘Bombtrack’, ‘Bullet In The Head’ and ‘Take The Power Back’. It’s THAT Rage Against The Machine album.

Rage Against The Machine
Evil Empire

The sophomore LP from serial establishment-botherers Rage Against The Machine gets reissued. Given that the title of 1996’s Evil Empire refers to Reaganite slander of the Soviet Union and ‘Bulls On Parade’ deals with violence and wall-building at the U.S.-Mexican border, this feels like a timely re-pressing from Epic Records. This is a Rage record so even if you've not heard it before you can probably guess what it sounds like.

Prophets of Rage
The Party's Over

Prophets of Rage consists of the members of Rage Against the Machine(/Audioslave) sans-vocalists, Chuck D and DJ Lord of Public Enemy, plus Cypress Hill’s B-Real - in other words, a Justice League of guys who just aren’t willing to let it go and move on to new strategies. “The Party’s Over” features vintage Morello riffage, over-enunciated, old school raps, and that same dusty feeling of camo cargos at hard rap-rock and ska festivals. Continue sticking it to the man with this handy 12” single!

Rage Against The Machine
Renegades

Awwwh yeah! Uhh! Damn! Get yourself the hell up! We gonna unite and fight! Agents of change! Gotta be the revolutionary generation! Damn we gotta break the chains! Get up, son! Gotta unite in solidarity! Awwwwwwwh yeah! Uhhh! This is a re-press of the final full-length from the band who invented counter-culture. All jokes aside, Rage Against The Machine were actually really good. Renegades might be a covers album but it still slays - there aren't many other bands out there who can do passable versions of tunes by both Bob Dylan and Eric B & Rakim. That said … Awwwwwwwh yeah! Sh*t! Woah! Uhh! Come awwnn! Get the hell up! Yeahhh! Uhh!

Rage Against The Machine
The Battle Of Los Angeles

Not too much more to say about this one. The Battle Of Los Angeles, the third studio LP by revolutionary thought’s very own Rage Against The Machine, is one of those rare records that can claim to have been both lavished with critical praise and purchased by millions upon millions of people. Both Time and Rolling Stone named it their album of the year when it was first released in 1999. Now Epic have given it a re-press. This is the one with ‘Guerilla Radio’ on it.
