David Bowie & Marlene Dietrich
Just A Gigolo (The Original Soundtrack)

Filmed during a break in his enormous Stage world tour in 1978, Just A Gigolo saw David Bowie star alongside the iconic actress and singer Marlene Dietrich in her final film role. While the film was panned, the soundtrack remains a compelling curio, featuring performances from Pasadena Roof Orchestra, the Manhattan Transfer and the Village People, on top of an original Bowie track ‘Revolutionary Song’.

David Bowie / Marlene Dietrich
Revolutionary Song / Just A Gigolo

David Bowie and Marlene Dietrich on one piece of vinyl together? Sold! OK, if you aren’t sold yet, let me tell you that this is also the last piece of music that Dietrich ever recorded, shortly before her death, and that these two recordings came out of David Hemmings’ film Just A Gigolo, with The Rebels being the backbone for Bowie’s Revolutionary Song recording. Limited 7” split.
