Kitty, Daisy & Lewis
Superscope

Kitty, Daisy and Lewis are a London based three piece who are now on their fourth album and continue to make old fashioned style pop, blues and soul using analogue gear. Weirdly Phil likes them despite them not having anything to do with Geoff Barrow. Anyway this should see them continue on their singular path and ensure healthy turnouts when they tread the boards.

Whenever You See Me

Kitty, Daisy & Lewis boldly pursue the sound of yesteryear, proper hardstyle Rhythm & Blues but with a ripe punky tinge. Whenever You See Me is paired with Feeling Of Wonder on the B-side, which includes an appearance from Mick Jones, formerly of The Clash. Tight 7” single, out on Sunday Best.

No Action

From their new album ‘The Third’, ‘No Action’ is Kitty, Daisy and Lewis’s follow up single to their BBC Radio 1 record of the week single ‘Baby Bye Bye’. The track is an uplifting, bluesey, disco number that reflects the range of influences and experiences at play in this multi songwriting, multi instrumentalist assembly.

Kitty, Daisy & Lewis The Third

Winsome middle class siblings Kitty, Daisy and Lewis reappear for a third album of laid back old timey organic grooves. If lead single "Baby Bye Bye" sounded just a little too close to Mike Read's "UKIP Calypso" then the lyrics chart a more lovelorn territory that should help get it onto an advert before the summers out. Produced by Mick Jones of The Clash.

Baby Bye Bye

With a name which sounds like the protagonists in a magical land where the people fish in clouds for candy floss with a magical talking heron, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis create music which sounds quite similar. This 7” single of Baby Bye Bye is a sweet, charming little folky, blues number which chimes along at a nice pace. Strangely enough the upcoming album was produced by Mick Jones of The Clash fame. Dreams do come true.
