Kate Nash
My Best Friend Is You

Having laid the ‘Foundations’ (sorry) for a long pop career with mega-successful debut LP Made Of Bricks, Harrow’s finest Kate Nash returned to the fray in 2010 with My Best Friend Is You. This album saw Nash really growing into her sound - there are still some chintzy twee-pop cuts, but on My Best Friend Is You these moments are more Camera Obscura than Scouting For Girls. There’s also a healthy pinch of riot-girl to numbers like ‘I Just Love You More’. Nash's sophomore effort is now issued on vinyl for the first time by Polydor.

Yesterday Was Forever

Another great moment in Norman Records storied history as we present to you a re-issue of Kate Nash's fourth album 'Yesterday Was Forever'. She'd already hit paydirt with 'Made of Bricks' and here set about writing confessionals about her new found fame referencing unfashionable '90s favourites such as Meredith Brooks and Annie Lennox.

Made Of Bricks

Come on admit it. You've been counting down the days until the 10th anniversary of Kate Nash's debut 'Made of Bricks'. Now known more for being an activist and political mouth piece this harks back to the time she made actual music. She was dead sassy back then - a bit like a perky and tuneful Janet Street Porter.
