Michael Gordon / Jonny Greenwood
Industry Water

Jonny Greenwood, that guy who plays guitar in Radiohead, has started his own label, and it’s exclusively for classical music. Industry Water is made up of two parts - Industry by Michael Gordon, which features Oliver Coates on Cello and Jonny Greenwood making some noise and Water - three miniature pieces by Jonny Greenwood, which features piano and  a string quartet which includes an Indian tanpura.

Radiohead
Drill

Drill was the debut from the nascent Radiohead. Back then the boys were still called On A Friday when they recorded these songs some of which have an almost U2 ish tinge. Before release they changed their name to the more acceptable Radiohead and the rest, as they say, is history. Currently going for huge amounts on online marketplaces you'd be well advised to pick up one of these 'warehouse finds'.

Jonny Greenwood
You Were Never Really Here (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Mr. Music aka Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood has coughed up another small masterpiece here. This time he’s done it on cue for director Lynne Ramsey in order to score his new film You Were Never Really Here, and he’s also enlisted the help of Oliver Coates and the London Contemporary Orchestra. Anyone who enjoyed Greenwood’s work on There Will Be Blood, Inherent Vice etc will get another kick out of this.

Jonny Greenwood
Bodysong

As well as being in enormous miseries Radiohead,  Jonny Greenwood (as well also as having the floppiest hair on the planet) has his own soundtrack biz. This is his debut soundtrack from 2003 and in it he fuses experimental music, jazz, electronic and classical music. It has now been re-issued in a gatefold style LP.

Jonny Greenwood
Inherent Vice - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

There’s more to Jonny Greenwood than meets the fringe-draped eye. As well as a guitar extraordinaire, he is also a fantastic composer, working with Paul Thomas Anderson as he has in the past on the Inherant Vice Soundtrack - the grimy looking film featuring Joaquin Phoenix and, weirdly, Joanna Newsom. Double vinyl.

Jonny Greenwood
Phantom Thread (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Here we are again with the dream team combo of super-director Paul Thomas Anderson and soundtracker Jonny Greenwood, who has proven to be an extremely capable avant-leaning orchestral composer over his previous three Anderson soundtracks. Phantom Thread is remarkably lush and rich, as befits the film’s glamourous period setting. Released by Nonesuch.

Shye Ben Tzur, Jonny Greenwood & Rajasthan Express
Junun

Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest film, Tunun, impressionistically documents the recording sessions that led to this album. Jonny Greenwood, with his Radiohead pedigree, will attract the most attention, but it is qawwali group Rajasthan Express and composer Shye Ben Tzur who are the real centre of this collection. Fantastic devotional performances, highly recommended. On Nonesuch.

There Will Be Blood (Music From The Motion Picture)

To celebrate the 11th anniversary (possibly) of Jonny Greenwood’s score to Paul Thomas-Anderson’s cinematic Oscar-winning masterpiece, There Will Be Blood, Nonesuch are making it available on vinyl for the first time. The Radiohead guitarist composed the score inspired by the scenery rather than the story. It is played by the BBC Concert Orchestra led by Robert Ziegler, the Emperor Quartet, with cellist Caroline Dale and pianist Michael Dussek. 140g LP on Nonesuch.
