John Moore
Knickerbocker Glory

I don’t know what it is about that album cover, but I like it. Anyway, John Moore, the man who replaced Bobby Gillespie in Jesus & Mary Chain and formed Black Box Recorder with Luke Haines has a new solo album out called Knickerbocker Glory, hence the literal cover art. According to Moore he began working on it in 1702 and it’s full of mostly love songs. Fans of Black Box Recorder will enjoy the laid back anthem Rabbit Hole, whilst tracks like Philosophical Man see Moore reaching right back into rock ‘n’ roll history for inspiration.

John Moore
Floral Tributes

Floral Tributes is to be considered a companion/sister album to Lo-Fi Lullabies. It took John 20 years to hang it together properly. Now it's here, you can invest in a great chunk of a wayward rock icon's life. John was in Black Box recorder with Luke Haines and prior to that had a stint in the Jesus & Mary Chain. Whoever they were.

Lo-Fi Lullabies

Lo-Fi Lullabies is collection of old four-track recordings made by John Moore (formerly of Black Box Recorder and The JAMC) He is apparently very pleased with this album and has cleaned it all up on his 'pooter and everything. John was the man with the biggest hair in the Darklands-era Mary chain line-up. He also was the one who looked like a getaway driver in Black Box recorder.
