Jamie T
Power Over Men

Jamie T is back in business with a new album, Trick. This single taken from the album makes a nice strong statement with it’s BDSM sleeve art and vibe of female Power Over Men, with the track working the usual Jamie T rock-songwriter vibes. Pressed to ball-gag-yellow 7” vinyl in limited quantities, on Virgin EMI.

Jamie T
Trick

Popular rap rock dude Jamie T is back after a gap of two years with more massive ear worms that you'll know even if you claim otherwise. Lead single 'Tinfoil Boy' is both emo-tinged and moshpit friendly which bodes well for an album of expansive /punk/reggae/rap/pop that is sure to be one of the years bigger releases. He's one of the ok ones this lad.

Jamie T
Magnolia Melancholia

With a chilled out singer-songwriter feel, the songs on Jamie T's newest release meander through catchy melodies and top notch production. Nonetheless, the songs on Magnolia Melancholia don’t sound over-thought, just well-considered. This 12” also features covers of Bran Van 3000 and The Replacements.

Jamie T
Rabbit Hole

Ambivalent rock 'n' roll from nondescript cool guy songwriter Jamie T, who continues to try his hand at quick-witted lyrical missives on new single Rabbit Hole. There's that loose cannon of a pop rock tune -- though it is Jamie T, so it's not gonna go anywhere too wild -- and then the flip provides "Sycophant". Good for you Jamie.

Jamie T
Carry On The Grudge

Which one is Jamie T again? I simply can't remember. Anyway here he is, he hasn't released anything for four years, yet this is  his third album? What is it? I mean what the hell is it? The track I'm listening to is a kind of a chanting pub rock type affair with a melody which is exactly like somethong from the '80's that I just can't recall. Something by Squeeze maybe. It then has a Beatlesy middle eight. He has no ideas of his own but who does these days? By the 17 millionthtime round the chorus is quite catchy. Anyway he's already wone Zane Lowes Hottest Record in the World accolade so this will probably be popular. On CD and vinyl.

Jamie T
Zombie

'Zombie' marks the return of the 'one-man Arctic Monkey', and is the new single by South London's Jamie Treays, AKA Jamie T, taken from his forthcoming third LP ‘Carry On The Grudge’. Pressed onto 12” vinyl, ‘Zombie’ also features an exclusive B-side ‘40/40 ICU’.

Jamie T
Panic Prevention

As 2006 turned into 2007 people were coming to terms with the fact that The Libertines weren’t getting back together any time soon, The Streets would never make another album as good as Original Pirate Material again and Lily Allen was now a thing. Enter Jamie T and his debut LP Panic Prevention, an LP that saw the cheeky Londoner serving a sound that kind of amalgamated all the above and threw in a dash of Billy Bragg's earthy people’s-poet pizzaz for good measure. Hits like ‘Sheila’ and ‘If You Got The Money’ ensured that Jamie Alexander Treays would be a fixture of festival lineups for many years to come.
