Ken Kesey
The Acid Test

The Acid Test is a recorded document of the mid-60s acid test scene is San Francisco. Ken Kesey and his partner in pranks Ken Babbs took acid in a recording studio and rolled tape. The Grateful Dead were present too. The resulting recording is one of off-the-cuff poetry, deconstructed harmonica riffs and tape loop experiments. Originally released in 1966.
