The Frogs
It's Only Right and Natural

The Frogs were a brothers Jimmy and Dennis Flemion from Milwaukee. It’s Only Right And Natural was their second album, but when it was made, as a bunch of four track recordings, it was only meant for the ears of the brothers and close associates. Gerald Cosloy of Homestead Records (now of Matador) convinced the band to release it in 1991. Lyrically is plays with stereotypes, mainly of a homosexual nature, and it annoyed the heck of the Christian right in the US. It won the band a bunch of celebrity fans including Kurt Cobain, Billy Corgan and Beck, who sampled the song ‘I Don't Care If U Disrespect Me (Just So You Love Me)’ on ‘Where It’s At’ from Odelay.
