What The World Needs Now Is Love / Tryin' Times (feat. Matthew Halsall)

Legendary jazz vocalist and Gondwana Records favourite Dwight Trible is the featured artist on the sixth release in the label’s 7” series. On Side A we have him covering 'What The World Need Now Is Love', famously penned by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, in a spiritualised jazz style. Meanwhile, Side B finds Trible doing something similar to the Donny Hathaway classic 'Tryin’ Times'. The single features musical help from Manchester-based trumpeter Matthew Halsall.
