James Clarke
Mystery Movie

Back in the 1970’s it was the job of people like Themes International Music Records and the KPM Music Recorded Library to keep up with the new demand for library sounds. In 1974 the former commissioned James Clarke to come up with an album of tense incidental sounds for them to keep on file. The resulting record - unsurprisingly entitled Mystery Movie - fuses blaxploitation soundtracks, jazz-fusion, funk, soul and more for an album of rare groove. Now the collection has been reissued by Be With Records.
