Well, what a pleasant surprise. Hollywood four-piece The Pandoras were a successful garage rock group in the 80s, but their career was cut short by the death of their frontwoman and songwriter Paula Pierce in 1991. Almost three decades on, the group have got back together and delivered a new EP called Hey! It's The Pandoras. Now fronted by Kim Shattuck of The Muffs, the band rip through these seven groovy tracks with all the old energy still intact. Out on Burger Records, which is cool when you think about how some of the label’s young roster must cite The Pandoras as an influence.
