The Fernweh
Sunsighs

You all liked the Fernweh album right? Well you'd be silly not to. It has that kind of 60s dust in it and recalls early Pink Floyd, the Trees and other English proponents of whimsical song craft. If you wanted more (and who could blame you) there's now this 7" which contains two non album tracks New Brighton Sigh (New Version) and Sunrise. Limited edition and only available from really special record shops such as us.

The Fernweh
The Fernweh

The Fernweh are a three-piece from Liverpool who play psych/folk/pop/rock that harks back to the late ‘60s/early ‘70s. Their music recalls Piper At The Gates Of Dawn-era Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, Heron, The Trees and many Vertigo and Island bands of that era. Self-titled LP and CD on Skeleton Key.

The Fernweh
The Fernweh EP

The Fernweh are from Liverpool, and boy do they sound like it. The group’s debut release continues the fine Merseybeat tradition of The Coral, The La’s and the rest. The Fernweh EP is even being released on a label named after a song by The Coral and run by a member of The Coral. It's is full of skiffling rhythms, wistful melodies, good strong harmonies and some well-oiled songwriting.
