An album of ‘post-rave power ambient poems’ from Berlin’s Broshuda here. One spin of Jemi and you can see what he’s on about. The sound design on this LP is as impressive as anything you’ll hear in 2018. Busy yet spacious, full of light and shade, it obliquely recalls the atmospherics of dub, trance, ambient punk and a bunch of other genres. The closest stylistic references are … Rabit? Lorenzo Senni? Ziur? It’s a unique record really.
