Mt. Mountain
Golden Rise

So good they (sort of) named them twice. Mt. Mountain are another Australian band that have found a home at the purveyors of the finest psych-rock, Cardinal Fuzz. The Perth band plough the brooding psych-rock furrow and have toured in support of bands like Boris, Sleep and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Golden Rise is their new and third LP.

Mt. Mountain
Cosmos Terros

Mt Mountain reissue their 2016 LP Cosmos Terros to hwet the hwhistle of those slobbering psych-rock junkies who gaze, saucer-eyed, at the ringed November date in their calendars that promises the release of the Perth group’s third LP. Six tracks of jingle-jangle nice-nice here. Tame Impala, obviously. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, obviously.

Stephen Bailey

The Australian public’s insatiable thirst for psychedelia has spawned a solo LP by Mt. Mountain frontman Stephen Bailey. Silo is full of pretty, melodic, well-crafted psych-pop. Tame Impala, Galaxie 500, that sort of thing. The people have spoken. Out via Cardinal Fuzz (The Left Outsides, The Cosmic Dead).

Mt. Mountain

Cardinal Fuzz bring you an older release from Perth’s Mt. Mountain: 2013’s OMED, the band’s debut. They mine that sweet grungy psych territory with aplomb, reaching for the skies with four mid-length tracks that positively drip with dreamy vibes. This reissue is the first time OMED has been released on vinyl.

Mt. Mountain

Incredibly heavy psych rock from Perth, Australia. Following up from their self-released debut album, Mt. Mountain follow the grandeur of their title with Dust. Slow building drones groan in and out before culminating into crushing and then expanding heavily doped up riffage, Atmospheric as... For fans of Earth.

Mt. Mountain

Cardinal Fuzz bring you an older release from Perth’s Mt. Mountain: 2014’s EP. Over the course of five tracks the band manage to be heavy and psych-rock enough to sit next to Sleep et al on the shelf, but whilst maintaining an overall vibe of lazy sweetness. EP has been reissued on vinyl in a limited edition of 350.
