Young Marco

Did you know that Young Marco has Indonesian heritage? Us neither. In 2014 the Safe Trip boss travelled to the country at the behest of Island Of The Gods (Black Merlin, Jonny Nash) to explore his roots. While there he made some field recordings that he then brought back to his Amsterdam studio and fused with hypnagogic synthscapes. The result is Bahasa, an LP of dreamy new age ambiences.

Gaussian Curve
The Distance

Gaussian Curve’s second album, recorded in Amsterdam, finds the trio dealing with a whole new way of making music: this time, they have an eager audience waiting to hear what they’ve got. The Distance should do an excellent job satisfying old fans (and new), being a sweet and emotional set of rich widescreen indie songs. Released by Music From Memory.

Selectors 002 - Young Marco

Bold DJ / producer Young Marco presents a set of his very favourite musics designed both to illuminate his influences and to provide the listener with some special tracks that you wouldn’t otherwise have encountered. As ever with the Selectors series, the tracks are presented as they are, not in the form of a mix, so each piece gets the chance to shine. CD / double LP on Dekmantel.

Young Marco

NYC-based, Lovefingers-run ESP Institute have finally re-issued Biology, the debut LP from Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Young Marco. It's a highly infectious blend of deep house, ambient and disco with a new age bent. Overflowing with addictive rhythms, this is a winner for those who like to chill but love the groove.

Young Marco / Tom Trago / Fatima Yamaha

Young Marco’s popular 2015 track ‘The Best I Could Do (With What I Had)’ gets a 2017 re-press here on this Dekmantel / PATTA team-up release. Joining Marco on the wax are quality cuts from Tom Trago and Fatima Yamaha (aka Bas Bron), adding up to a trio of brooding peak hour jams. 12” on Dekmantel.
