Posh End Sponk Trax Vol. 1

Posh End Sponk Trax Vol. 1 is an early contender for the best-named record of 2019. Once you stop giggling to yourself and put the thing on you’ll find that cheeky Glaswegian Fear-E has served up a set of feel-good warehouse tools here. Cuts like ‘Jump On The House Train’ and ‘Green Eyed Monster’ are those where-were-you-in-’92? type acid bangers that never fail to please. Posh End Sponk Trax Vol. 1 was never going to come out on any label other than Dixon Avenue Basement Jams (Marquis Hawkes, Denis Sulta).

Santini's Ghost

Four tunes of grotty underground house and acid from Fear-E on the ever-reliable Dixon Avenue Basement Jams label. The Santini’s Ghost EP has a raw, improvised feel, but never loses sight of heavy bass and distorted drum machines. There’s even a little bit of an industrial/EBM influence to round it off.
