Future
Future Hndrxx Presents: The WIZRD

Future continues to play the dark prince on his seventh studio LP. The Hndrxx persona has always taken Future’s air of narcotic-fugged honesty that little bit further - think of Hndrxx as Future’s Thin White Duke - and Future Hndrxx Presents: The WIZRD is another set of cold-blooded trap tales from the superstar MC. Young Thug, Gunna and Travis Scott guest.

Future
HNDRXX

Future’s early 2017 album HNDRXX, which you can pronounce Hendrix if you like, gets a nice vinyl pressing here, courtesy of Epic. The album is fully stocked with cutting edge 2017 hip-hop-pop, with a huge list of producers representing the cream of the current scene. Plus guest vocals from The Weeknd and Rihanna! Double LP.

Future
Future

Future presents Future, his present album, on bumper 2LP format via Epic. As with past Future releases, the Atlanta rapper presents various characteristic techniques, such as autotune-heavy vocals and trap backing tracks, which fashionably persist in the present, and appear set to continue to do so well into the future. While the hooks are groovy and Future’s delivery is quite light, there’s also something uneasy, even oppressive about the droning intensity of many of the tracks. That’s the present for you!

Future
Pluto

Future’s breakout album from 2012 Pluto, remastered and made available on vinyl for the first time from Omerta. Features tracks with Drake, Snoop Dogg, R. Kelly, Trae the Truth and Juicy J. If your idea of a good weekend is hanging around your front yard with two cop cars with their sirens on whilst your crew goes nuts, this probably for you.

Drake & Future
What A Time To Be Alive

Instantly memorable as much as it was unexpected, the highly quotable collaboration between two hip-hop juggernauts makes its way to the vinyl format just over a year after its 2015 release. Toronto’s Drake flew out to Future’s Atlanta base and with just under a week together in the studio, the pair churned out a victory lap record executive-produced by their respective wingmen 40 and Metro Boomin. With Boomin on most of the instrumentals, it’s very clear Future’s on home turf though both rappers thrive across the LP’s over-the-top boasts and beats. Closing out the record, “Jersey” and “30 for 30 Freestyle” see both artists show off their signature sound as solo rounds.
