The Ocean Party
The Oddfellows’ Hall

The Oddfellows’ Hall is the eighth album in 10 years by Australian indie six-piece The Ocean Party. The band, who all write their songs together, have poured a whole lot of recent life experiences into their songs for this one. From babies to break-ups to homelessness to returning home. The title of the album is taken from the name of the New South Wales community hall in which they recorded the album. LP, limited to 150 copies on Emotional Response.

The Ocean Party
Beauty Point

The Ocean Party are a bunch of Australians who make emotional, sweeping indie pop. They have six (6) songwriters so there should be no shortage of new material. This is their seventh album of atmospheric piano led music which incorporates strings and sax and reminds us kind of a severely depressed Icehouse.

The Ocean Party
Restless

Melbourne-based indie-pop six piece The Ocean Party make the kind of fresh indie music you’d expect from an Aussie band. Similar to recent favourites The Goon Sax and The Phoenix Foundation. You will hear cap-dothing to Gayngs and Destroyer through their use of piano and sax. Restless is a diverse collection of songs - probably resulting from each of the six members contributing songs.
