Gary Numan
The Pleasure Principle – The First Recordings

The Pleasure Principle - The First Recordings is a bunch of demos and outtakes from the sessions that produced Gary Numan’s first solo album. The songs were recorded mid-April, 1979, whilst Tubeway Army’s second album, Replicas, was residing at number one in the album charts. Numan decided to drop the Tubeway Army name and release the album under his own (stage) name.

Replicas – The First Recordings

The second and final album from Gary Numan’s band Tubeway Army before Numan embarked on his celebrated (and ongoing) solo career, Replicas housed the UK chart-topping hit ‘Are Friends Electric?’ Now, the early sessions for the seminal record, including a John Peel session, are exhumed and presented on double ‘sage green’ vinyl.

Gary Numan
Dance

Gary Numan’s fifth album, 1981’s  Dance, gets a much-needed reissue. After squishing the original 50 minute album onto one LP, compromising the sound of the recording, it now gets room to breathe over three sides of vinyl, with a fourth side being filled with singles from the era. Numan’s famed electro-pop gave way to some jazzier stuff as he introduced saxophones to the album. Guests include Mick Karn from Japan and Roger Taylor from Queen. Purple vinyl 2LP on Beggars Banquet

Gary Numan
I, Assassin

Hey Gary, I get the feeling you’re supposed to be hiding in the shadows but you appear to be standing in the light of streetlamp. You’ll get seen, y’know. However bad an assassin Gary Numan may make in reality doesn’t matter. What does matter is that we have spiffy reissue of his 4th solo album, I, Assassin, which was originally released in 1982. It contains the hits Music For Chameleons, White Boys and Heroes and We Take Mystery (To Bed). Green vinyl LP on Beggars Banquet.

Gary Numan
Savage

With hair blacker even than David Gedge, long term electronic pioneer and goth rocker Gary Numan is back with his 22nd album 'Savage'. Expect the normal terrifying electronic rock that could only be performed by looking menacing and being ladled with dry ice on an enormo stage. Long term fans will rejoice bleakly.

Gary Numan
Obsession

Recorded in 2014 at the Hammersmith Apollo venue in London, this release contains a two hour combination of twenty-four of Gary Numan’s greatest tracks under the title ‘Obsession’. Described as ‘more than a personal affair for Numan’, this quality mix of indie-pop and electronica is available on Vinyl Triple LP, DVD and CD.

Gary Numan & Tubeway Army
Premier Hits

Wow! Premier Hits is a full compilation of literal hits from synth-pop pioneer and industrialist Gary Numan, with (of course) his Tubeway Army in tow. The songs are split over four sides of vinyl, the first time this collection has appeared in this format. Includes favourites like ‘Cars’ and ‘Are Friends Electric?’. On Beggars Banquet.
