Jamie Lenman Vinyl, CD & tapes from this artist at Norman Records
Here's a recording of interestingly coiffured troubadour Jamie Lenman performing at an intimate show around the release of his previous album Devolver. As well as playing songs old and new and well as some well chosen covers, he takes part in a question and answer session which helps connect him to the audience. A live album with a difference then.

Former Reuben scream-man Jamie Lenman drops a new single on them there Big ol’ Scary Monsters. ‘Long Gone’ is … well, us now letting you know that Lenman is a friend of Frank Turner sums that one up quite nicely. ‘Irrelevant’, which has been remixed by Arcane Roots bloke Andrew Groves, does that screamo-goes-r&b thing that FTSE (Sam Manville of Blakfish) has perfected over the past few years.
Jamie Lenman has gone for a more focused approach on his second long-player, Devolver. His debut, Muscle Memory, was a sprawling double which mixed thrash metal with country. Here, with the help of Prodigy and Idles producer, Space, he has created an album that explores digital sounds and dance floor rhythms. Lenman took risks making this, purposefully avoiding his usual ways to force himself to be more creative. LP and CD on Big Scary Monster
