GZA
Liquid Swords: Marvel Edition

Liquid Swords needs no introduction. GZA, ‘Cold World’, guest features from everyone else in Wu-Tang, blah blah blah. A pinnacle of '90s hip-hop, the 1995 record still sounds great more than two decades on from its release. On this new Marvel Edition the LP is given a new lick of paint to tie in with the comic book behemoth. Cool new artwork and some nice little extras on both versions.

GZA / Genius
Pro Tools

A blue-vinyl re-issue of Pro Tools, the fifth solo studio album from Wu-Tang Clan founding member and MC GZA / Genius. When it first appeared in the summer of 2008, the record won plaudits for its melancholy soul atmosphere and the distinctive Wu-Tang reflections of the lyrics. Sadly, GZA hasn’t made another solo record in the subsequent 11 years.

Wu-Tang Clan
Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues

The Wu-Tang’s seventh full length. Eighth if you’re perverse enough to count the single-copy Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, and Lesson Learn’d makes a point of dissing that item’s purchaser, appropriately cartoonish supervillain Martin Shkreli. That string-driven track and single People Say are strong enough to stimulate murmurs of a return to top form, so hopefully we’ll soon be discussing this Mathematics-produced album for entirely non-pharma-bro-related reasons.

Genius / GZA
Dark Matter

With his last album Pro Tools being in 2008, and having produced undoubtedly one of the best hip hop albums Liquid Swords, It’s understandable why we might be excited about the solo return of The Wu Tang Clan’s Genius/GZA. Genius by name genius by nature, I’d say this is a fair bet for boom-bappers from anywhere.

Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) (Deluxe 7inch Casebook)

Presented as a 7” box set for the first time ever is the Wu Tang Clan’s classic debut. It’s a beautiful thing spreading the tracks over six 7” records and including 56 page book with interviews and lyrics etc. Wonderful for Wu Tang obsessives but just imagine how many times you are going to have to get off yo ass when playing it.
