Horace Andy / Im and The Agg
Fever / The Flue

Fever by Jamaican roots reggae legend Horace Andy was originally released in 1973. This version of the classic party starter also features a remix, known as The Flue, by late jamaican saxophonist Cedric Im Brooks. Apart from being a legend in his own right, Horace Andy found new fans through his work with Massive Attack in the 1990s and 2000s.

Compiled by Steve Barrow and originally released in 1997 on Blood & Fire, Good Vibes collects a brace of tracks from the period 1975 to 1980. All tracks are either augmented with dubs or in discomix versions and capture Andy in his hardest-edged form. Highlights include Prince Jammy’s 12” mix of the Bunny Lee production Pure Ranking.
