Foals
Collected Reworks

They may be a big rock band but Foals have always had an interest in electronica and dance music and have regularly passed their sounds onto producers to get them dancefloor ready. This collection features the usual suspects such as Hot Chip, Kieran Hebden, SebestiAn but also more interestingly Mount Kimbie, Haxan Cloak and a host of others. It's a 3LP release and coming after two separate releases of original material in recent times these Foals are really spoiling us.

Foals
Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost: Part 2

The days when Foals made the sort of short-circuiting post-punk that had them briefly touted as a math-rock band are long gone. As anyone who’s checked in with the group’s last few records can attest, Yannis et al now deal in a brand of meaty stadium-rock that comes off like an art-school version of Rage Against The Machine. Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost: Part 2, the companion piece to the Part 1 that was released earlier this year, continues to lean into this sound.

Foals
Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part 1

Oxford's second biggest band return with more stadium-sized teeth gnashing. It's part one of a two part extravaganza of new music that is said to be their most ambitious work yet with prog structures ambient interludes, the kitchen sink and lots of pontificating on the state of the world. You'll get this one first then once you've recovered, part 2 will follow later in the year.

Foals
Holy Fire

Holy Fire was the third album from always pretentious Oxford rock mainstays Foals. Coming after their breakthrough Total Life Forever, it was a spectacular bust of creativity aided and abetted by producers Alan Moulder and Flood who drew unrestrained playing out of the quartet on an ambitious work that yielded more hits than misses.

Foals
What Went Down

Oh look, a new Foals album! This is the first we’ve heard from Foals since 2013, when their last full length, Holy Fire, was released. What Went Down lavishes us with ten tracks, and is available as LP, CD, or in a deluxe edition paired with a DVD containing enigmatic ‘additional video content’. Mmmmm, content. On Warners.

Foals
Holy Fire / Live At The Royal Albert Hall

The ever evolving Oxfordian quintet decided to accompany the release of their third studio album, Holy Fire, with a CD and DVD recording of their live performance at The Royal Albert Hall. For any Foals fan, this is a must.

Foals
Total Life Forever

Total Life Forever was the breakthrough second album from Oxford heavyweights Foals. It expanded on their debut Antidotes into a wide ranging and at times schizophrenic sound that drew on math-rock, post-rock and just a little bit of prog. Their ideas were enormous and sometimes pretentious but they carry and impressive musical and emotional weight that has seen them become one of the UK's most respected bands.
