I don't mind earnest yelping or "I know that key has to be around here somewhere" voices, but even with early Dylan that was hardly his strength. I certainly don't object to accusatory political lyrics, but these are not compelling. I'm a big fan of melody, and only a Lennon could make magic from such a limited range of notes.
