Marry Waterson & Emily Barker
A Window To Other Ways

Marry Waterson is an English folk singer and member of the famous folk music family The Watersons. She is the daughter of Lal Waterson. Emily Barker is an Australian singer/songwriter whose music you may have heard on the UK version of crime drama Wallander. The pair met at a songwriting retreat run by Kathryn Williams. Their first album together, A Window To Other Ways, has thrown up a mixture of stiles from the obvious folk, with country, soul, blues and indie. LP and CD on One Little Indian.

Marry Waterson & David A. Jaycock
Death Had Quicker Wings Than Love

The second team-up between Marry Waterson and David A. Jaycock is an obsidian-dark folk record for haunted winter nights: I’m pleased to say it lives up to the promise of its none-more-gothic title Death Had Quicker Wings Than Love. Guests include John Parish, Kathryn Williams and Romeo Stodart. On One Little Indian.

Marry Waterson & David A. Jaycock
Two Wolves

Marry Waterson is deeply immersed in England’s folk tradition, often performing with her family The Waterson Family (not to mention her cousin Eliza Carthy). For Two Wolves, she worked with fellow traveller David A. Jaycock, to produce a delicate set of songs that reflect on subjects including her family. On One Little Indian.
