James Elkington
Ever-Roving Eye

James Elkington has seemingly worked with everyone from Richard Thompson to Tortoise to Steve Gunn to Nap Eyes. Ever-Roving Eye is his second album and he has recorded it with Wilco's Jeff Tweedy at their Loft headquarters. Though it fits within the tradition of the 1970s British Folk Revival, it also casts a nod towards avant-garde experimentalism, psychedelia and even film soundtracks.

James Elkington
Wintres Woma

James Elkington returns with his latest album for the Paradise Of Bachelors label this time going it alone (his 2015 collaboration with Nathan Salsburg 'Ambsace' was superb), his gentle fingerpicking folk textures are reminiscent of Nick Drake and Tim Buckley but have a certain virtuoso mathy quality, now a full time member of Chicago americana legends Brokeback alongside Doug McCombs James is starting to make a lasting impact on the american alt-folk scene.

James Elkington & Nathan Salsburg

A beautifully augmented duet from James Elkington and Nathan Salsburg. Ambsace reinvigorates Americana with intricate, delicate fingerpicking that’s as technically impressive as it is harmonious. With connections through Jeff Tweedy and Steve Gunn, these are seasoned players with a knack for nostalgia. Out on CD and vinyl LP from Paradise Of Bachelors.
