Space Art
Trip In The Center Head

Space Art are a notable example of French electronic pop music, active in the late 70’s. The obvious comparison is Jean-Michel Jarre (with whom they often worked), but Space Art had their own thing going on. Trip In The Center Head is their 1979 album, reissued here on vinyl by Because Music. Includes a poster and a CD edition of the album.

Space Art
Play Back

Space Art are a notable example of French electronic pop music, active in the late 70’s. The obvious comparison is Jean-Michel Jarre (with whom they often worked), but Space Art had their own cosmic electro journey going on. Third album Play Back contains a grand three-part space suite, and a track called ‘Folkstone Hovercraft’. Vinyl reissue with poster and CD edition thrown in.

Space Art
Remix

Space Art are a notable example of French electronic pop music, active in the late 70’s. This Remix release takes three Space Art tracks (including their big hit Onyx) and remixes them, with producers like Prins Thomas and Psychemagic doing the honours. The original tracks are also presented for comparison. Double 12” with bundled CD, on Because Music.

Space Art
Nous Savons Tout

1977 was pretty early to be making synth-pop, but that’s when French duo Space Art got going. This reissue is of their third single, first released in 1978. Nous Savons Tout feels like it looks to the future, with epic synth-work that recalls French electro-proggers Heldon. Remastered 7” with original artwork and a postcard with some liner notes.
