Konstruktivists is the project of Glenn Michael Wallis who had a connection with Throbbing Gristle (he was their control agent, whatever that means!). His music, described as proto-electro, was influenced by the likes of Neu!, Can, Yello, Tuxedomoon and Chrome. 'Glennascaul', his fourth album, was produced by Chris Carter of Throbbing Gristle at his studio in 1985. Wallis also collaborated with Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti on' Conspiracy International One' by CTI.

A Dissembly

Konstruktivists have been releasing pretty much every year (with the odd gap here and there) since 1982. With a recent album out, Dark Entries look back at its beginnings; mixing with Throbbing Gristle and all of the Industrial records gang. This is a must for anyone into the initial industrial releases - gritty, cold, experimentation with a load of hardware.
