Spinning Coin
Vision At The Stars

Wee Scottish indie-pop sensations Spinning Coin return with their first new music since 2017s well regarded 'Permo' LP. Again being released by the Pastels Geographic imprint, this first taster has been co-produced by the Peter Pan of indie-pop himself Stephen Pastel. Surely one of the best of the new indie-pop lot this will appeal to fans of Teenage Fanclub, Orange Juice and Josef K.

Spinning Coin

After a couple of excellent 7"s and some pretty sweet support slots Spinning Coin finally drop their big debut album. This Glasgow band have slowly honed their sound of luscious indie-pop that takes inspiration from the golden ages of indie (both C86 '80s and early '90s grunge) but crucially remembering to add in future classic melodies to the equation.

Spinning Coin

Glaswegian group Spinning Coin play gorgeously-hued indie music. A fixture on the city’s DIY scene, members of the group have affiliations with Winning Sperm Party, and this particular single is released via The Pastels Geographic Music label. Albany was self-recorded, and sounds just great. 7” vinyl single.

Spinning Coin
Raining On Hope Street

Spinning Coin feel like an update on the gloriously dishevelled yet heartrending indie pop that came out of Glasgow in the '80s and '90s. Following their well received debut in 2016 they return to Geographic for two more examples of their take on the anorak clad sounds of the Pastels, the Shop Assistants and the Boy Hairdressers.
