Whyte Horses
Empty Words

Here come enigmatic Manchester psychedelicists Whyte Horses with their second album (not counting the thing they did with a children's choir). They are led by crate digger Dom Thomas who also finds time amongst digging those crates to helm Finders Keepers. Noel Gallagher described their last record as 'great' so hopes are even higher for this.

Whyte Horses & St. Barts Choir
St. Barts Choir perform Pop or Not (the music of Whyte Horses)

Earlier this year Manchester’s Whyte Horses released made a psych-pop album called Pop or Not. Then they got together with the choir of Haslemere primary school St. Bartholemew’s and re-did the whole thing, but with the kids singing. My cockles, consider them warmed. Out as LP and CD in December. It is preceded by a special cut of ‘She Owns the World’ where all of the school’s 420 (yes, 420) children belt out the chorus.

Whyte Horses
Pop Or Not

Whyte Horses are a Manchester project helmed by Dom Thomas of Finders Keepers, who is all about exploring global vinyl archives to find unheard wonders. That feeds into the band, whose sound combines an implausibly wide array of genres into an energetic melange that just about seems to work. Pop Or Not is out on CRC Music.
