Dumb Blood

Here is the debut album from VANT, a new alternative rock band with punk flavours. Dumb Blood is polished enough for a few tracks to have a good stab at achieving festival anthem status, but the band’s bite remains. And if you really dig these guys, a deluxe double CD version is also available, featuring nine additional bonus tracks. On Parlophone.

Peace & Love

It feels like VANT have roots in harsher, less polished punk music, however the way their stuff comes out it sounds like they're inspired by the pop punk of Jimmy Eat World, the indie rock stylings of Palma Violets, and in terms of this single, the hippie-ish style and lyrics of Peace. Whatever you make of it, the London-based band's new single Peace & Love is a huge track - catchy, hard-hitting and full of passion. Released as Vinyl 7" on the Parlophone label.

Karma Seeker

VANT sound like an enthusiastic bunch of lads, playing a kind of indie that has strong poppy melodies and a shade of garage grit in the sound. No space is wasted on Karma Seeker: after the single and the main B-side (‘Welcome To The Wonderful World Of Berners Lee’) comes a quick extra song that lasts just 22 seconds. Leave no wax behind. 7” on Parlophone.

Parking Lot / The Answer

‘90s influenced melodic, indie-rock band Vant have been touted as a band to keep an eye on. The London four-piece’s mix of attitude, aptitude and pop-grunge sound has certainly created a buzz with Parking Lot making the Radio 1 playlist. Parking Lot / The Answer is available on 7” single on Parlophone.

Fly By Alien

VANT’s single Fly By Alien is a high energy pop-grunge / pop-punk tune about an extraterrestrial encounter that leaves humanity with a message: something to think about there. Record Store Day 2016 stock, with very limited quantities available. Pressed to alien-style luminous vinyl, on Parlophone.
