Blossoms
In Isolation / Live From The Plaza Theatre, Stockport

With the coronavirus preventing live shows from happening and Daniel Ek needing more product in order to pay bands half a penny for every thousand streams on Spotify then it's not surprising bands have been forced to put out hodge-podge collections to keep the coffers flowing, This interim release from Blossoms is half filled with covers and reworks recording in lockdown plus a live set recorded in their native Stockport.

Blossoms
Foolish Loving Spaces

As a 'celebration of love' in all its guises, Blossoms return with their most mature offering to date - 'Foolish Loving Spaces'. As the five-piece's fifth album, tracks are characterised by their trademark harmonies between intertwining arcade synths and twitchy guitars. Highly anticipated stuff from one of biggest modern day indie wave-makers.

Blossoms
Cool Like You

Just look at the sleeve? Wouldn't you just want to hang out with those guys? They are like Embrace but with cool lights. Well last time round Blossoms knack of writing catchy post Oasis anthems and adding enough 80s production to get local radio programmers everywhere putting away their Howard Jones LPs was a winning formula.  Now it's that 'difficult' second album. They have a great car. They'll be ok.

Blossoms

Blossoms are an indie band from Stockport. Their stock is rising fast in 2016: they came 4th in the BBC’s new music poll and their first single, At Most A Kiss shot to number one in the iTunes chart. Its follow-up Getaway also proved to be a success and they’ve wowed with an appearance on Later...with Jools Holland. Expect big things with their self-titled debut album.
