Revolutionary Army of The Infant Jesus
Songs of Yearning

Revolutionary Army of The Infant Jesus are a unique ensemble who emerged out of Liverpool in 1985. Their identity is a bit of a mystery and they shun any kind of publicity yet they have built up quite the following particularly in Europe. Songs of Yearning is their fourth album and is typical of their work in that it combines ambient and neo-classical influenced pieces with ethereal vocals and a influences from Eastern Europe.

Nocturnes

Elsewhere on these pages you can find Songs of Yearning  - the fourth album from shadowy Liverpool collective Revolutionary Army of The Infant Jesus. Nocturnes is intended as a sister album, an entirely new set of recordings that explore the themes of Songs of Yearning from a totally different angle. The band are a unique proposition, blending neoclassical and ambient influences into a swirling, evocative sound that has slowly evolved since their beginnings in 1985.
