LA Priest
Gene

Off-kilter wonk-popper LA Priest (aka Sam Dust) returns with 'GENE' - a sophomore album capitalising on the knob twiddler's debut offering. The experimentalist was previously the leader of cult favourites Late of The Pier and similar sensibilities can be heard in the works of LA Priest - but with a more twisted and avant garde approach.

Soft Hair
Soft Hair

This is the duo of Connan Mockasin and Sam Dust (LA Priest/Late of the Pier) in collaboration. They simply can't be serious these two (just look at that sleeve) but both have form when it comes to making slinky Prince-like soft pop.  Check out the video for 'Lying Has to Stop' where the come across like some kind of sleazy take on Flight of the Conchords.

LA Priest
Inji

LA Priest (aka Sam Dust) is not from LA, but from the UK, where his former band Late Of The Pier used to kick up a storm. Inji is his first solo release, and is filled with curious touches. Weird digital pop music with a joyous tinge. Attractive (and, if you want it to be, green!) vinyl gatefold LP with a poster to boot.
