Zone Six Vinyl, CD & tapes from this artist at Norman Records
Zone Six’s very first album, self-titled and released in miniature quantities in the late 90’s, here receives a reissue! From the start, Zone Six were all about electronically-enhanced spacerock and the improvisation thereof, and this session reaches some seriously deep and heavy places. This is the rarer first version of Zone Six, without vocals. Reissued by Sulatron.
Here's an example of psych rock being fun. Zone Six are a long running improvised trance rock band that feature members of Electric Moon and Sula Bassana. This is a recording of the freaking the heck out at a venue “Graf Hugo“ in Feldkirch, Austria. The sort of amazing place that bands love to play and that councils want to turn into car parks. Pretend you were there by putting on the vinyl nice and loud and dancing around.
You can tell that Love Machine is going to be a good and proper psych release when you see that it fills this LP (a coloured LP at that) with only four tracks: plenty of room to stretch out, letting the distortion and the delay lead the way. Zone Six go wild and spacey like pro’s: good news! On Deep Distance.
