Brothers from Leicester Andy and James Jones are Lusts with their very first single here. Very influenced by the 80s zeitgeist, one for fans of New Order, Joy Division and Spandau Ballet. Mixed by MJ from revered Hookworms, expect lots of reverb guitar, black tight fitting clothes and New Wave hairstyles. Vinyl 7” on 1965.

Leicester-based Lusts progress further into their reverb pop world with new single Waves. Produced in lovely Leeds by MJ from Hookworms no less, it’s a crisp, shiny dose of nostalgic new wave reminiscent of the melancholy of Liverpool icons Echo & The Bunnymen. Out on vinyl 7” from 1965.

Everybody Lusts for some vintage chorus-soaked pop songs every now and then, and so does Lusts. Their debut Illuminations sheds some light on the Stone brothers’ love for the combination of vintage sound and modern pop-songs, and includes their three catchy singles Waves, Mouthwash and Temptation. You'll have to bring your own tie-dye.
