Low
The Exit Papers

First-time vinyl and electronic release for Low's 'imaginary film soundtrack' EP (originally released in 2000, a year before the seminal album 'Things we Lost in the Fire'). Largely instrumental, 'The Exit Papers' was definitely one of Low's more experimental records. The band sent copies of this out to movie executives in the hope of securing soundtrack-writing work. Purchase also includes download code.

Low
Double Negative

Two years on from the excellent Ones and Sixes Low have headed back down Highway 53 to Eau Claire to resume work with producer B.J. Burton (Bon Iver, James Blake) on an album which is said to be an unflinching eleven track quest to be loud, abrasive and commanding. A Low record that fights against itself....shades of 'Drums & Guns' perhaps? Once again Low move with the times. Truly always different, always the same.

Black-eyed Snakes
Seven Horses

Seven (7) horses? That is loads. Tread very carefully. Black Eyed Snakes is of course the scorch blues project of Low's Alan Sparhawk. Almost as different from his other band as it's possible to get the Black Eyed Snakes are known for incendiary live shows  showcasing their love of punk and electrifying blues.
