Faetch & Sunil Sharpe
HOOF005

After only a couple of 12”s on Earwiggle German producer Faetch teamed up with head honcho at the On The Hoof label Sunil Sharpe (Tinfoil) for this four tracker. Vigorous, dirty and rave ready, from deep heavy and speedy Wriggleee to the grittily acidic Trainer Books. A sweaty and fun record for long nights. Very limited hand stamped white label.

Sunil Sharpe
HOOF001

On The Hoof is a brand new label, hosted by Sunil Sharpe and operating out of Ireland. He’s decided to kick things off himself with this powerful little EP: four tracks that kick and pump and swirl around with acidic flair. The release has the very appropriate title / catalogue number of HOOF01. 12” vinyl.

Tinfoil
Tinfoil 5

Tinfoil is a duo made up of DeFeKT and Sunil Sharpe, mixing their own blends of techno, but there is a noticeable retention of DeFeKT’s crisp electro sheen. Their fifth installment under the moniker they keep everything tight to the chest and just simply produce some of the most refreshing and hard hitting techno. Plain as.

Sunil Sharpe
HOOF004

Abrasive industrial techno from Dubliner Sunil Sharpe and the On the Hoof label. The stunning hand-stamped and stickered paper sleeve of the HOOF004 vinyl 12” may look lovely, but within is four tracks of harsh, repetitive, out-there techno built from razor sharp snares and very heavy bass tones.

Tinfoil
Tinfoil 4

Sunil Sharpe and DeFeKT team up for their fourth release as Tinfoil. Opener Foil 23 is a reese bass led tune with real pace to a high thumping kick and shaking percussion, Foil 26 boasts disjointed and detuned alarm-like synths and doubled up whomping low end percussion. Ending on the straightest of the three Foil 28, a whirring electronics soundscape with a gleaming metallic edge.

Cadya

Chief of cruel techno Sunil Sharpe brings more of his unkind vibes to the world with 'Cadya', his new 12" for Trensmat. There's not much time to collect yourself through these suffocating, claustrophobic tunes, going in at 4/4 but coming out as some of the most unforgiving dancefloor cuts out there. Recommended for fans of the dark electronic aesthetic that comes courtesy of Karenn and Surgeon.
