JK Flesh / Orphx
Light Bringer

A union of JK Flesh and Orphx was never going to go gentle into that good night. New LP Light Bringer collects audio from some shows the two acts played together in Germany and the Netherlands. Results are as one might expect - harsh rhythmic noise, skull-crushing techno beats and doom-laden industrial bassweight. Wicked stuff. It’ll come as no surprise to find out that Light Bringer is being released on Hospital Recordings.

Orphx
Archive 1993-1994

Early works from the back catalogue of Orphx, which sounds like one hell of a dark and clanking heavy place on this evidence. Archive 1993 - 1994 contains the best of the first two Orphx cassettes, plus some entirely unheard cuts, presented here for the first time on any format! Double LP on Mannequin.

Rrose / Orphx
Summer Solstice Edition

Summer Solstice Edition is a split between 2 cutting-edge producers, Rrose and Orphx. Thrusting beat-tracks are surrounded with off-kilter oscillations and queasily-filtered synths, for a pair of pieces that are as more about texture than anything else. Released on Khemia Records as a ghost-like clear vinyl LP in a limited edition.

Orphx
Sacrifice

One of those bands that have to have it both ways, Orphx are a duo known for meshing industrial and techno together. Their latest EP is being released by Sonic Groove, and it's called 'Sacrifice', which is pretty apt for music as unforgiving and mechanical as this: this record is repetitive, engrossing and hard as a brick wall. I just dig that crazy and/or terrifying rhythm!
